Another example of finally finding a perfect use for something I have had for a very long time.
I had these glass teardrops made for my first project at Falmouth Art School back in 1990. Then I changed my mind about what I was going to make and popped them in an empty match box.
A couple of weeks ago I was sorting through my craft stuff and I found them. Ten minutes later some wooden beads and some waxed cord had joined them and I had a lovely new necklace.
I don't know why it took me so long...
I think I was always waiting for the perfect project...
...and I guess in the end this was it!
