With mild temperatures and clear skies forecast, we decided to enjoy one last Sunday evening meal together in the garden before usual temperatures return and that idea seems a lot less appealing...
It was a whole different feel to summer meals outside...dark by 7, a fire and warm clothing compulsory and no wasps! But there was something quite magical about sitting under the stars, candles lighting the table and garden and toes cosy in warm boots.
We celebrated the season past and talked about the season coming, enjoyed our food...despite the difficulty in seeing what it was in the dark...and I think that this may become a new regular in our annual calendar...
