The picture above is just a selection of the wonderful contents of the parcel I received from Julie in return for the items I showed you yesterday. I loved everything she sent and with the start of the holidays all the little Easter items are becoming dotted around the house....
....A banner above the doorway...
...spotty eggs in the tree...
...a family of chickens as you enter the house....
...and a cross-stitch edging around my jar.
The egg cups are on the dresser...
and the jam is on the breakfast table (outside in the sun!).
And there is still lots for me to have fun with left in the box...(OK I may have to admit to there not being too many sweets left now, just don't tell the children!) Thank you Julie, I had real fun with this swap and the contents will be enjoyed by all of us for years to come.
Now I am going to slip off for a couple of weeks to enjoy the holidays and hopefully the sunshine with all my boys. We have big plans for the garden and maybe some DIY in the house too. We are hoping to make it to Cornwall for a few days and to our favourite beach here in Wales but most of all we are planning to rest and relax and to go with the flow. I hope you all have a sunny, peaceful and happy Easter and don't forget that even though I won't be appearing here, I am planning to keep going with my photo a day over at Flickr and you can always come and say hello there!
