Today I would like to share with you a lovely new project created by a friend of mine. Annie of Bird and little Bird is a wonderfully talented crafter, an inspirational writer, a Bibliophile and a endlessly imaginative educator. We met through her handmade book exchange and our little ones have both received and sent a number of packages across the miles. This week she has launched a new e-magazine called Alphabet Glue ( you can read all about it here) and she was kind enough to let Sam and I have an advance copy.
As you may remember I am constantly searching for a new kind of magazine - one that doesn't leave me feeling discontented and inadequate, one that adds a little magic to our lives and this new quarterly is definitely going to be added to my feel good list. It has a great breadth of content, everything from crafty makes - to some special ways to enjoy an afternoon at the Library and I found many things that I would enjoy doing as much as my children (not always the case when it comes to children's craft ideas!) I honestly think that the ideas in Alphabet Glue would appeal to those who love books already and those who are a little more reticent about reading. Annie has generously offered a giveaway that will mean that two lucky people don't just have take my word for it....leave a comment at the end of this post and I will randomly choose two names to receive the two free copies of the first issue. Comments will stay open until the end of the month and if you pop over here and come back to tell me which of the projects in issue one most catches your eye - you can have an extra bonus entry...good luck!!
