I wondered through Haroldswood this week and was struck by the beauty of the fruits and seeds ripening on every branch. The leaves have yet to change colour but the change of season is apparent in every direction. I thought you might like a view now and then one later in the season when the canopy is glowing with shades of yellow and red.
I hope you enjoyed that walk as much as I did. I am off to take a dose of elderberry and rose-hip syrup (made with berries gathered in the hedgerows) and then to bed attempting to avoid the shivers I have brought back from work turning into something horrid.
