The time has come for me to put some answers to that huge list of questions that have been gathering here. I thought I would start with the easy ones and carry on in more detail over however many days it takes, let me know how you want them - consecutively or spread out? Right, take a deep breath.....
Favourite Colour? Can I say Rainbows? I really can't come up with a favourite, I thought for ages and the closest I could come up with is Green and Blue and Purple and Pink, so maybe I could just say I LOVE colour in my life, any kind of colour. I don't think I will ever be a monochrome sort of girl!
Favourite Music? I think I can see a pattern here....I don't have one favourite kind of music either - I need music in my life all the time and like colour it can almost be any kind. I adore Josh Garrels, Jacaranda has to be up there as one of my all time joys but in my car at the moment I have Tallis - Spem in alium, Lily Allen It's Not Me It's You , Mumford and Sons, Coldplay X&Y , Florence and the Machine, Goldfrapp, Linkin Park Minutes To Midnight, Snow Patrol, Nanci Griffith, Vaughan Williams and we all love this:
Tracks from these would definitely be included if I only had an hour to listen to music too.
Morning Person - All nighter? Sort of a dormouse really, I feel tired all the time and often wish I could curl up and sleep in the afternoon. I love early mornings though and quite enjoy a late night so I guess my ideal place to live would be somewhere that encouraged a long after lunch siesta.
Coffee or Tea? Love them both - morning coffee, afternoon tea.
Most rewarding part of my day? Difficult one - probably in reality it changes from day to day but if I had to name one thing I find constantly rewarding on a day to day basis, I think walking with Snap would be it. It is a precious hour out of my day where I get to be outside, whatever the weather, enjoying the sensations of being out in Nature with my little velvet dog running happily by my side.
Do I dance when no one is looking? Yes - and when they are looking too! I did ballet up to the teaching exams but then chose to concentrate on academic work instead. So now I get my fix by dancing and singing along to whatever I am listening to in my earphones, while I am walking the dog. I try and make sure no one is looking - although I have startled a few unsuspecting sheep!
My favourite item to wear? My wonderful necklace that Amy made me of course!
Who taught me to knit? The Nuns at the convent school I attended from the age of five until I was sixteen. I always looked forward to the tatting lessons that the sixth formers received but left to do A' levels elsewhere, they used to look so lovely sitting in the Italian Garden with their lace in their laps.
Knit/Crochet? Both but crochet is winning a bit at the moment!
Pie/Crumble? Neither really, I don't have a very sweet tooth but if the pie was savoury then without a doubt, pie!
Custard/cream? Would have to be custard.
Seashore/woods? No competition, a Cornish lass to the tip of my toes - let me at that beach!
I think that is enough for today... let me know if you need a break before I move on? Thank you to all of you that asked me such diverse questions, you really got me thinking about those answers and these are the simple ones!
