Just had to show you my new scroll lace scarf, fresh off the needles and truly irresistible! It was knitted using two and a tiny bit skeins of stunning Noro Cash Island I bought on impulse on another day out with Emma, my yarn pusher friend! The yarn is such gorgeous colours (the three skeins were all different colours but all complimentary) and unlike other Noro yarns I have used, this mix of cashmere and wool is so amazingly soft and lofty, a real pleasure to wear next to your skin.
The pattern was a challenge in some ways, really easy in others and the whole thing took around three weeks to knit in a very relaxed and interrupted way. All Ravelled here...
I am off again with Em to the Knitting and Stitching show in Harrogate, this weekend, I will attempt to come away with only inspiration and photo's but if not I will confess all next week...Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who are celebrating this weekend and Happy Weekend to all of you who aren't, I hope it is a weekend of good things for all of you!
